Part 1,

So... I, Adimus Nox, have beentasked with the transcription of my team’s efforts for The Inquisition’s
Records. The past few months of working under Koenradd von Graf have been... Interesting… To put it lightly. While working under Ordos Xeno, my team collectively has encountered several Dark Eldar on several occasions; however, these encounters shall come later in this record. Returning to the subject of this report, the stolen Bolters. For a quick Intro to the team; Myself; Impromptuleader/Adeptus Arbites. Clisto; Adeptus Arbites. Genevieve Switz; Adeptus Mechanicus. Yulanda Pherdiote, Zero; Adeptus Sororitas. Zephyr ‘Monroe’;
Psyker.

To begin with, after making our own ways to the Galloping Athex, we met with our supposed Inquisitor Koenradd. As a testament of goodwill and my own badassery, I set down one of my prized trophies, a Kroot’s femur (Fucker tried to eat me). After that display, he described in minor detail how his main team of acolytes had lost a shipment of the stolen subject munitions. We were now tasked with tracking the bolters and those who are currently holding them. After the debrief, we searched for any rumors or suspicious activity that might possibly lead to someone with Intel of this trade. Thankfully we spotted a group of gangers sacking a Supply store and overheard one of them suggest that ‘Jaspar Bones’ was making a deal for a handful of the stolen Boltguns. After a failed attempt to stealthily send one of us in, a quick gunfight ensued. We were easily victorious as we slew all but one of the gangers. After a quick “Interrogation" where we threatened to
castrate him, he gave us the info we needed to move forward with our investigation. After executing him and stripping the corpses for anything useful, we set out to our next step, “The Crossbones” pub.

Soon finding ourselves at this bar, each of us took different routes to get inside. Two of us sneaked in through
the back (Clisto and Zephyr), and the other three through the front (Myself, Gene, and Zero). Upon the entering the establishment, our eavesdropping determined that Bones was in some hot water with an... Interesting Ex. Clisto and Zephyr quickly found their way to Jasper, who was under guard. They signaled to the three of us to cause a diversion. Strangely enough… Gene managed to start a bar fight between two ganger factions to our advantage. The guard at the door quickly moved in to try and halt this outburst. This allowed us to move in closer to Jasper’s office and closer to our next step. After running into a few of his conclave members, we were able to convince them that we were there for extra protection from his crazy ex, We then finally met the one called Bones. Upon meeting Bones, I saw an opportunity for both of our sides to gain. A simple bargain was struck; we eliminate the crazy Ink Spot Hündin +ON: This is crazy Krieg speech, ignore+ hunting him, and he gives us the location of a future, much larger deal.

I’m going to skip the minor details of the fight between us and the Ink Spots for time and attempting to save a bit of pride… Note we were victorious although we suffered some damages… Me and
Clisto had to reside to a Medicae temple for our injuries. Fucks took my arm…

Now here's where the details might be a bit "iffy," for I heard it second hand from a very ornery, Sacrisian man named Connor Gallach… After the group obtained intel from Bones, they set out to shadow the transaction. Arriving early, they set up a hidden radio so that they could listen in as the trade happened. Taking cover in a nearby building, they waited patiently like a hunter waits for prey. It turned out that a faction of the Cloud Boys, whose leader Siggy Smiler was in possession of the stolen munition. The faction was trading it to Darial
Eisen, a traitor to the Imperial Guard. Connor swears he saw Darial hand Siggy a briefcase with “Red glowing fuck rocks," but neither myself nor any of my teammates had a clear line of site to verify that this was true.  After the trade was complete, Siggy pushed the rest of the boxes off their truck as they drove off. The Team continued to follow Darial and his men, who had loaded these boxes into their own transport. As we excellently shadowed the men and did not, Upon shadowing them with extreme excellence, as we did not tip them off of our presence, they led us right too their hideout.

After reporting these events to Koenradd Harkonn, he gathered some of his  Stormtroopers, who were probably Krieg +ON: They weren’t, he assumed that because I am an Armageddoner, which is not the same thing. Fucking bigot+. They embarked to cleanse this hideout of its disgusting heretical scum. After disarming a few traps set in their
way, they saw a dismal sight....a sanctionary was fighting for his life against a cultist brute wielding a chainaxe. They were surrounded by other scrawnier cultists in a ramshackle fighting pit. Using a hallucination grenade, the troopers and my team made short work of these Flachwichsers. I’m not exactly sure what happened to Conner, but whatever it was left enough mental damage that he now fears elevators for some reason… The only real problem experienced during the execution of these Fickfehlers was the… “GIANT FUCKING HELLHOUNDS OF FLESH AND SCALES”. Both allied teams (My squad and Stormtroopers) took heavy casualties as they
fought these abominations. Only by desperation and the use of grenades were the three Daemonic Hounds defeated and sent back to “Frowny Face McMurderaxe”  +ON: He either means [REDACTED] or [REDACTED]+ Searching and cleansing the premises, the team found very few of the stolen boxes of the bolters. They also found a letter to Darial which described a full-on assault of Tower Gotha of Desoleum Primus with the assistance of Lord Kotrohman of Hive Jarzin… Whoopie fucking doo… +ON: Acolyte Adimus forgets the key part of this that the letter details the attack as an assassination attempt planned on the planetary governor of Desoleum+

(Here is where the Dark Knife-Ears come into play.) After shortly finding this letter, Koenradd Harkonn dispatched us to Spire Gotha to see if any infiltration had already occurred. By this time, I and the rest of my team had licked our wounds and otherwise had limbs replaced. Each of us picked roles to disguise ourselves as simple guards, maids, and cooks. We each were introduced to our bosses and sent out to take care of our newfound duties. Some succeeded with flying colors, others… failed to cut carrots… or come up with a story for why they were hired for that matter.

Anyhow, as we maneuvered through Spire Gotha, we encountered multiple contraptions that could have proven catastrophic if not discovered: a form of a Dark Eldar EMP next to the security camera room, a Scarab like mechanism that Koenradd informed could control one’s mind (also Dark Eldar) +ON: This design is similar to one Inquisitor Rondos employs, which he learned from an Inquisitor in the Ixaniad sector. It allows remote access via psyker powers. Usually, Korudon uses it for telepathic linkages, but in dire cases, he has considered using it as a way to puppet master his acolytes and underlings+, and a Chef Festus that planned to poison Lord Gotha. Each was dealt with extreme caution or extreme violence. Scarab: Destroyed, EMP: Destroyed, Festus: Interrogated, beaten with a bottle, stabbed with the said bottle then broken, and finally had his corpse dumped into a barrel with two carrots. Also, something of note that was not apparent to us until it was too late, a warp portal leaves behind a smell of Ozone and a general feel of the air hanging heavy in a certain confined space. The Dark Eldar attacked us through opening a warp portal in the security room, this took us completely by surprise as the only real warp related incidences we experienced comes from our own psyker +ON: Although Acolyte Adimus defines this as a “warp portal”, his description of the event made it seem more akin to standard teleportation technology rather than phenomena like a Regia Occulta, Triportal, or Gate of Infinity. Now teleportation technology is warp based, but the quick in-and-out nature and the relative quiet that occurred is more in-line with a tech-based teleportation+. The guards posted at the Security room were wiped out quickly along with Genevieve and Zero. After hearing gunfire, the rest of the team rushed to repel this sneak attack, succeeding by a narrow margin. Only one Eldar left that room alive, then what seemed to be a commander. Furthermore, this attack turned out to be a mission purely for the cameras and turrets operated by the servoskulls, the real siege had only begun. After the Eldar jumped back into through Warp, Tower Gotha was hit by several missiles, taking out multiple guests and guards.

+ON: What Acolyte Adimus does not fully explain that spire Gotha had come under a combined air-assault and invasion by Kotrohman sigil bearing valkyries and vultures.+

As we rushed to the main entry point of House Gotha, we had a clear view of the those who were behind this. A
big black armored fuck with a huge sword, a cowboy with a face comparable to burnt toast, Darial Eisen using a grenade launcher, some old fuck that coordinated this attack calling himself Warmonger, and twenty or more meat-shield cultist. I’ll give you a summary of what happened: Each of my team commanded platoons of
guards to shoot the meat-shields. As Zephyr kept the black armor fuck pinned to the ground I plastered him with bolter rounds until he flew away. My leg was shattered from a well-placed bullet from Cowboy then was proceeded to be blown up by Darial. One of the guards saw Rainmaker and called in an airstrike on the
old fuck, deserves a decent raise that one. As Rainmaker flew off the dock from the explosion and cultist numbers mostly defeated, the rest of the leaders of this assault scrambled with him. Leaving us victorious and Spire Gotha mostly intact.

After the attack was repelled, Lord Kotrohman was arrested and brought to Desoleum +ON: Lord Jastilus arrived in Desoleum Primus of his own accord to look as guiltless as possible+ where a court of high power officials +ON: The Consortium+ stood to judge him. Koenradd brought the current team to help a potential ally +ON: Marshall Jugend Volkmar of Desoleum, the leader of the Arbites in and around planet Deosleum+, this ally hoped to prove either he is or is not connected to this incident at all. Which later you will find that he was not.

Being in the hospital… again… Proved to be not such a bad deal considered what the others dealt with. After
the battle, Arbites found Rainmaker +ON: General Erioch Karpath was known as Rainmaker for a pacification campaign on Chaoha III urged by an enterprising Rogue Trader. He gained the name after an incident involving moving a settlement off of promethium rich land. After his defection from the guard, he has taken up the name Warmonger which, as acolyte Formidda has told me, could describe most leaders in every faction of the galaxy [which I do not disagree with]+ (Yeah… he’s lucky and seems to be unkillable…) and captured him. Holding him in a precinct for Connor and the rest to question him… More as for those who did not know how to interrogate to question him. It went exactly how you’re probably thinking, with the addition of a CHAOS SPACE MARINE WALKING IN THROUGH A WARP PORTAL +ON: Gate of Infinity+. My team basically became scarecrows as the traitor marine pulled Rainmaker out without having to do any real damage. So… take what you want from that. They were unable to pull anything from him, however, because of a little birdie we had learned of our local Hive Info Broker, Siggy. Setting up a meeting between him and us wasn’t hard with the help of our favorite cartel boss Jaspar Bones. Connor and two of our team met and conversed with Siggy about the location of Darial. As they were finalizing a deal, a new rook joined this game of chess +ON: Acolyte Adimus does not provide much detail about an important person of interest. The "rook" (and no, not "The Rook") that joined was one Sirgev Gach, the leader of an Insuratti break-away group that has made numerous alliances with various underworld factions to gain control of the Insuratti's various rackets and assets. Gach is of Inquisitorial interest due to his ability to seemingly manipulate a shadow-like substance to anything he wills. That reeks of Chaos.+ A fight broke out between what Connor described as ‘Mobster loan sharks and the Cloud Boys, Siggy was more inclined to help us with a newfound hatred of Cultists, giving us a pinpoint location of a deal Darial was going to make in a few days.

This is going to be a relatively a short passage about Darial’s interrogation.

After searching and finding the warehouse where Darial was meant to complete the transaction between an unknown +ON: The description of the unknown character as described sounds like one Finn Greely, a Cadian veteran that was part of the unfortunate decapitated regiment incident that led to several thousand Cadian guardsmen and Kasrkin (Cadian-variant stormtroopers) stranded on Desoleum Primus. He was key to the stolen munitions shipment the other acolyte team failed to stop. Funny enough, I am making these edits in his bar that I stole, the Galloping Aethexe+. The team set up shop a few buildings over and waited for his arrival. The stakeout took days which allowed me to recover and return to them, allowing Connor to return to his regular whatever the blazes he does. Anyway, maybe a day after my arrival the time spent finally paid off as Darial came to finish the transaction. Moving quickly and (for some) silently we attempted to surround and cut himoff. Look, the plan fell through, but we got the end goal so don’t question too much. We’re fuckups sure, but we’re fuckups that can get shit done. After repelling a group of armed mercs we captured Darial and questioned him in a railway repair tunnel. He told us of Rainmakers connections to Jarzin.

From Darial’s information, we moved to Jarzin and was put to a halt by customs. To be able to conduct our
investigations we were forced to be creative and dug our way into the military base. There I was brought before a sheriff and with some intimidation, we were able to get passage to where we desired for information. Meeting commander Xanthas in the process and questioning him, insight from myself and Zero caused suspicion and allowed a seed to be sown as we tailed him from his mansion. From there we hailed transport and followed him to an abandoned hotel. I then rappelled into the 7th floor and waited for any sign of activity. After seeing Xanthas move past my current floor followed by multiple others in golden masks, I activated a stummer to follow. As he entered a room, I pulled out a Pic Recorder and turned the stummer off, endangering myself to be discovered by the Golden Masked Individuals (Yes, very stupid). I was unable to get video, but I was able to acquire vocal proof of his involvement. There was the smell of Ozone, the same smell in the Security Room attack at Spire Gotha by Eldar and at the abduction in the Interrogation Room holding Rainmaker by a Chaos Space Marine. It was the
same Marine that spoke to Xanthas. He Congratulated Xanthas for playing his part. Both Xanthas and the Head  Golden Mask cared not if Lord Kotrohman was found guilty, implying that it is more likely he did not even know of his Commander's action.

After reviewing a tape taken of Xanthas, it is assured that he is allied with the heretics that attacked Spire Gotha. He was also the one that corrupted Lieutenant Revol, the man that supplied the aircraft for the attack, and that he had lied to us multiple times through his questioning peeking our suspicions. Turns out Revol was nothing more than a tool for them and followed with that he served his use for them.

Now things start to get much more dramatic. After our Psyker and myself being injured in a skirmish between us and two bounty hunters; Toast Cowboy Wu-Tang and Cao Lo the "Jiangshi". The Psyker managed to play dead whereas I fell/jumped out of a second-floor window escaping Cao. While in the, you guessed it, hospital again we were met by Inquisitor Ivo and my brother Vasimere Nox.

Inquisitor Ivo explained to us that suspicious activities have caught his eye in a docked ship holding some form of a party. Getting in was easy enough as he claimed the little posses he had with him were his guards and entry was granted.  Splitting off from him, the others +ON: During this time, Adimus was still in medicae care and he received this information from his brother+ remained in their given robes until they found mechanicus robes that would allow them to move more freely in the ship. Making their way to the captain’s quarters without drawing any suspicion from the patrolling guards, they hacked in and moved to a security room. Spotting the same commander Eldar from the siege and several of her knife ear friends. A pale man with whiteish blonde hair approached them and spoke in Eldar for a moment then back to common. He explained how they had no longer needed them and that they served their purpose to frame Kotrohman. Just moments after he left a new player entered the table… A pink armored Chaos Space Marine wielding a “Guitar-Psyker-Cannon” that was quite handsome. He shredded his weapon which shredded the Eldar minus their commander who surprisingly made an escape. Upon her running into the main area of the ship, the Chaos Marine didn’t follow, instead of going back to his Warp Portal and stepping out of his LimeLight. Scared and confused as panic slowly set in, the group collected the video which is mostly normal until Pinky came in and played. They quickly made off and collected Ivo, leaving that ship and its troubles behind.

Vasimere accompanied my friends to the court as the tapes were being delivered, however, another situation occurred as Zepher and Gene spotted one of the cultists with a golden mask. Quickly telling Koenradd, he sent them and Vas to the basement to where the cultist retreated. Finding multiple detonation charges and even
more guards/cultists, using stealth they managed to find the main source of power. With luck and Gene’s knowledge of the machine spirits they were able to cut and disarm all explosives, but not before nearly blowing themselves and everyone else up. They made quick work to get out as they slew several cultistmand Cao in their escape, running from Wu-Tang and leaving them in the basement. Returning to Koenradd Harkonn +ON: I have changed my name a lot. I don't blame him for getting it wrong+ they gathered guards and swept the basement finding it abandoned except for the charges unarmed and undetonated.

Kotrohman's innocence was proven and everything seemed to be stabilizing, until he basically claimed his side of the world and cut the planet in half +ON: As of writing, Lord Jastilus has sent envoys to sector governess Praefecterix Anastasia on Juno to move the planetary capital of Desoleum from Desoleum Primus to Jarzin.+ With a dramatic speech and continuation of denouncing the Consortium, Desoleum is going to be a lot more interesting in the coming days…
